Carburetors
Suzuki applications generally use
a two barrel "down draft" style carburetor
originally manufactured by Hitachi.
From 1986 through 1988, Hitachi supplied carburetors for the Samurai.
In 1989 Suzuki added the SideKick
to it's lineup.
Both the Samurai and SideKick applications have a 1.3 liter engine
which allowed Suzuki to retain the same Hitachi two barrel carburetor
for both models.
