Carburetors
Subaru applications generally use
a two barrel "down draft" style carburetor
originally manufactured by Hitachi.
From 1971 through 1981, Hitachi was the sole supplier of
carburetors for the Subaru line of cars. In 1982 however, Carter Weber
began to supply single barrel carburetors which were installed on a
select number of 1800 cc engines.
FC does rebuild these single barrel Carter Weber models.
Unfortunately, at the moment you won't find them in the online
catalog. We are working to correct this oversite.
