Plymouth Carburetors
Plymouth applications generally use a  two barrel " down draft " style carburetor originally manufactured by Solex Mikuni.

 Early carburetor models were traditional in design using a metal die-cast body and common bi-metal spring type choke system.
 
Later models changed dramatically in design; first by adopting a water heated "thermal wax" style choke system and then by replacing the die-cast main body with a molded plastic housing.
