Hyundai Carburetors
Hyundai applications generally use a  two barrel "down draft" style carburetor originally manufactured by Solex Mikuni.
 
Hyundai's choice was to use the same carburetor installed on some Dodge Colt applications.
 
There are two major variations of the Solex Mikuni carburetor used by Hyundai.

The early models used a hot water "thermal-wax" style choke system whereas, the second (later) carburetor was modified with an electrically operated choke.
