Chevrolet Import Carburetors
From 1972 through 1988, most Chevrolet
import applications used
a two barrel "down draft" style carburetor
originally manufactured by Hitachi.
These models are similar
to the carburetors found on Datsun and Ford Courier engines.
In 1984 thru 1989, Chevrolet
added the Spectrum and Nova to its import lineup. The Spectrum uses a Nikki
and the Nova uses an Aisan model. Both are two barrel designs.
