GMC import applications generally use
a two barrel "down draft" style carburetor
originally manufactured by Hitachi.
GMC installed these carburetors on the Jimmy and Pickup truck
S15 & T15's with 1.9 or 2.0 Liter engines.
Variations of this carburetor were created for automatic and stick
shift applications. Similarly, there are two emission variations. One
is used for Federal emission systems and the other for California.
